Adios, Muchachos!
But we're happy to be moving along. Two weeks at the beach is exhausting.
Behind the Couch
The Mediterranean
This post will be very sad, just so you know. WARNING: do not read—this is boring.
Book. Book. Book. Book. Book. Book. Book. Book. I am made of water. Bye bye.
Now that's the end of my post.
OH GREAT!
This trip to Ibiza was fun. Molly and Lilly both got cactuses in their arms and I built some hollow sand forts that no one could actually fit inside.
The end.
"I think it's a bobcat" was really funny.
I jumped into the Mediterranean. The temperature was meh.

Sunscreen Addiction
This baby can frequently be found after having swiped the sunscreen and found a place to hide while smearing as much as possible in herself before she is caught waxy-white-handed.
Molly’s highlight list
My highlight: the boat trip
My lowlight: when the car got a boo boo
I'm thankful: we got to go on this trip
I learned: that pirates drink rum
Mr. Miyagi
*Mr. Miyagi was a character in a 1980's movie series "The Karate Kid." and he caught a fly with his chopsticks and told Daniel (the Karate Kid, himself) to do the same.

Big Big Boat, part 1
Today we went on sail boat. When we got in we waited a little bit and then we started going and we went in between some giant rocks. And then after that, there was a wooden blue boat with three sails. We took pictures of it. Right after that a giant jet went about 60 feet right above our mast and it made a big vroom sound.
I was scared about getting on the net but then I got on it. And got on it again and again and again.
There were probably some fish under the boat the whole time.

Another Day at the Beach
Hard to tell because I took these pics during the 20 minutes it was overcast and sprinkling - but the water was crystal clear and tinted turquoise. We rented a kayak and paddled out into the open water. We even saw a small jellyfish while we were out there.
Lilly LOVES the water for sure. It's her perfect temperature
The Day of the Jellyfish
By Molly
Today there were a lot of jellyfish at the beach.
I got bitten by in like three spots by jellyfish but we caught 11! We were at the beach that we have been to a few times and we also saw some really big fish, but we didn't get to catch one.
It itches a LOT all over my legs to have a jellyfish sting.
After we caught the jellyfish we would put the jellyfish on rocks so they would die so no one would get stung by them anymore.
They looked like goopy things of clear slime that moved by themselves.
Mom wiped vinegar all over my legs and then a waiter from the beach restaurant put some paste on my legs. Then I had to be in the shade and it still itched for awhile.
But now I'm going back to the water to play again. Bye bye.

Es Vedra
One thing is certain: Es Vedra player the part of 'Bali Hai' in the movie "South Pacific" and it is a gorgeous piece of Earth. So big shout out to Sue for being the reason I know about that movie and have a frame of reference to appreciate it beyond all the mystical stuff the Hippies of decades past put into play.
We started out at this beach today. That is, until the rocks under foot became too much for the kids to handle and we headed back to a darling family friendly beach a little closer to where we're staying. Just past the water line there are lots of larger rocks that were too much. Plus, this beach was packed, making it hard for the kids to dig their beloved beach sand pits. But it was inspiring while we were there!
Hot!
Then this fussy cuteness followed.

My New Pet Lizzy
By Molly
There was a lizard crawling on my head today! It happened because it wasn't too scared of humans and it crawled up my arm and stayed on my head.
I named it "Lizzy."
Later when Jackson was holding Lizzy, it jumped off of Jackson's hand and back into me. It grabbed onto my hair and dangled there. We don't know if Lizzy is a boy or girl.
I think Lizzy liked us so much because we were gentle and not hurting him and not scared.
When Lizzy finally crawled away from us, Lilly said "bye bye Bebe Lizzy"
